In my professional world I'm a creative strategist with a vision for empowering grassroots communication through equal opportunity, community and authenticity online. So many others share a similar vision - we live in exciting times. The world is changing fast.

For the most part, I interpret my vision through a business I co-founded with my business partner, Eric Howe. This business is called The Citizens Media®.

• Working for local creative company ExploreMedia, Created slogans and advertising campaigns, such as May long weekend anti-crime appeal: ‘In Whistler this summer, PLAY behind bars, don’t STAY behind bars!’
• Commissioned to develop slogan, content for website and ongoing ads for Ted Nebbling’s 2005 election campaign. Slogan: ‘Now is the Time!’
• Ran the local community blog site for Whistler’s Municipal Elections, 2008. VoteWhistler 2008 Archive.

Focused on pitching to the top 100 UK businesses, before moving to Canada in 2000, I gained over eight years sales and marketing experience promoting IT/Network Management solutions. Companies I worked for included  ROCC Computers, The Knowledge Group, MessageLabs and Telewest. Products and services sold include hardware maintenance, cabling, end-to-end management solutions (‘Wideawake’), leased line services and outsourced anti-viral scanning solutions. Clients included The National Trust, Cable & Wireless, Debenhams (Arcadia Group) and J. Sainsbury plc.
